Father-son club for dads with sons aged 5-11. The Father-Son Club helps young boys develop virtues essential for manhood, particularly fortitude and temperance, by fostering a deeper bond between each boy and his father. Each monthly session introduces a virtue through a brief talk and offers a challenge for fathers and sons to tackle together. Sessions also include discussions among fathers on best practices for raising virtuous young men.
The club is divided into two age groups: 5–8 and 9–11. While some activities involve all participants, virtue talks are conducted separately for each group. Fathers actively participate in activities and discussions with their sons.
The club meets monthly on Sunday afternoons from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM. Previous activities have included:
- Sports at a local Irving park, accompanied by snacks and a virtue talk.
- Excursions such as hikes, visits to the local fire station, or volunteer activities.
Specific details, including the meeting location and planned activities, will be shared via email at least two weeks in advance. To join the email list, please contact Father-Son Club at sonday.fundayDFW@gmail.com .
